Monika (born in Kielce, Poland) is a photographer based in Beacon, NY. She has spent a large part of her adult life in the New York and Seattle area.  She has recently relocated to the Hudson Valley.

Her photographs express her passion for the intimate landscapes of Eastern Europe and the relatively untouched beauty of the west.

She uses medium format film photography (Mamiya 7ii) and it often captures moody landscapes on black and white film in search of a more timeless feel.
